You can Make a Difference!

If you would like to volunteer at the Food Bank, please read the Civil Rights Info Sheet and fill out the Volunteer Application form below.

We will contact you within 48 hours. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make a difference in our community by serving as a Food Bank Volunteer. Working professionals, retirees, stay-at-home parents, school-age children, teens, college students, club members and members of the U.S. military - we need you!

 

For your convenience, we have automated our Volunteer experience, powered by Bloomerang Volunteer. Click the VOLUNTEER APPLICATION button above to start the first step

to set-up your profile/account. Once your account is created, you will have access to schedule your volunteer events, check-in/out of volunteer events and track your volunteer hours.

 

Our Volunteer Opportunities:

 

Mobile Pantry: On-site food distribution from our Mobile Pantry truck. Volunteer responsibilities may include recording recipients information and loading fresh produce and non-perishable food boxes into neighbors vehicles.

Your volunteer time will be spent outdoors so please come prepared in the following attire:

*Weather appropriate clothing, dependent on forecast (prepared for summer temperatures, rain and winter cold)

  • Closed toe and closed heel shoes (athletic style shoes suggested) *No sandals and or Croc style shoes permitted for safety

  • Comfortable clothing that covers your shoulders

 

PowerPak4 Kids (Morning/Afternoon Shifts): Assembly-style packing of individually wrapped, non-perishable food items into plastic bags. Recipients are school-aged students, providing food through the weekend.

Your volunteer time will be spent in our warehouse, therefore, please come prepared in the following attire:

  • Closed toe and closed heel shoes (athletic style shoes suggested) *No sandals nor Croc style shoes permitted for safety.

  • Comfortable clothing that covers your shoulders.

 

Warehouse (Morning/Afternoon Shifts): Within our Food Donation Processing Center. Volunteer responsibilities include sorting, wiping, permanent marker marking and organizing of non-perishable food items that have been donated by our neighbors.

Your volunteer time will be spent in our warehouse, therefore, please come prepared in the following attire:

  • Closed toe and closed heel shoes (athletic style shoes suggested) *No sandals and or Croc style shoes permitted for safety

  • Comfortable clothing that covers your shoulders

*Complimentary rubber gloves available

 

Volunteers under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Families are welcomed and encouraged to work together.
