Warehouse Staff
Responsibilities:
-
According to established guidelines and the appropriate “pick” sheet, accurately and thoroughly fulfill inventory order requests.

Utilize conscientious and safe handling of all warehouse material handling equipment including pallet jacks, hand dollies and forklifts in order to avoid personal injury to self, others and damage to product, equipment or facility.

Remain knowledgeable of current inventory and inventory levels. Performs monthly inventory count, as instructed, by physically counting and accurately recording product quantity and type, notifying manager immediately of discrepancies or problems.

Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area at all times including warehouse, grounds, bins and equipment; cleans up spills immediately; keeps walk areas and exits clear; locks and secures equipment and facility as required; notifies manager of problems or needed repairs immediately.

Demonstrates professionalism and speaks respectfully when interacting with staff, volunteers and the general public.

May perform other duties as assigned such as but not limited to pest control, furniture moving, helping with deliveries, etc.
Development Manager/Officer
The Development Manager/Officer is responsible for assisting and participating in the organization's development efforts by providing administrative, management, logistical, and project management support for various activities that ensure sustainability and organizational growth. This position supports all aspects of fundraising, including the annual fundraising plan, direct mail, major gifts, capital campaign, volunteer activities, and events. In addition to other specific development activities. Compensation and position level are commensurate based on experience.
Key Responsibilities

Research and identify funding opportunities to grow and strengthen giving in support of Food Bank programs.

Build, segment, and manage a strong portfolio of prospects and donors, balancing discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

Support and participate in capital campaign efforts, including donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
-
Manage the Volunteer Coordinator to grow, engage, and steward volunteers into long-term advocates.

Collaborate to develop and execute the organization’s Donor Development Plan.

Serve as an ambassador for the Food Bank within the community.
-
Manage third-party food and lead sponsorship program fund drives.
-
Serve on the Empty Bowls Committee & coordinate other internal fundraising activities.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of experience, preferably in fundraising or development.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.

Professional, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to take initiative.

Proven leadership and supervisory abilities, including collaboration, delegation, coaching, and conflict management.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Experience with Bloomerang (preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
