Volunteer Orientation

This is a great guide to give you information for what to expect when volunteering at the Food Bank. This will also provide rules and regulations for volunteers.

WFAFB Community Needs Assessment

The Wichita Falls Area Food Bank (WFAFB) in conjunction with Feeding Texas and the AmeriCorps VISTA program partnered to conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) among the WFAFB’s 12-county service area. A CHNA describes the development of well-established approaches to better understand the needs of a local population.2 This will help determine how the WFAFB can better utilize resources and gain a holistic understanding of the clients they serve. Prepared by: Mark Tibbetts, AmeriCorps VISTA Health Partnership Organizer & Jessica Bachman, MS, RD, LD Nutrition Services Director
