
As the Director of Philanthropy, Julie is responsible for vital community outreach initiatives and manages key relationships throughout the Food Bank's 12-county service area. She creates a warm environment for volunteers and donors as they help minimize hunger in North Texas. She also plays a critical role in many operational projects that improve efficiency and effectiveness to ensure donated dollars are used in the best way.
Julie is originally from the northern suburbs of Chicago and later relocated to Texas after 15 years of experience in major corporations located in metropolitan areas such as Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, and Philadelphia. Her professional portfolio encompasses roles in Human Resources and Project Management across various industries, including fashion, hospitality, and industrial business.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College and has a Nonprofit Management Certificate from Midwestern State University. She continues to advance her career through attending conferences and trainings to increase her impact in philanthropy.
