VOLUNTEER
You can Make a Difference!
If you would like to volunteer at the Food Bank, please read the Civil Rights Info Sheet and fill out the Volunteer Application form below.
We will contact you within 48 hours.
You will make a difference in our community by serving as a Food Bank volunteer. Working professionals, retirees, stay-at-home parents, school-age children, teens, college students, club members and members of the U.S. military - we need you! Your gift of time and talent will make our community a healthier place to live.
Volunteers give in a variety of ways. Some choose to work on-site at the Food Bank. Others opt to work as a team member in a community-based location. Volunteers will be asked to participate in tasks that include sorting incoming donations, processing and organizing items for distribution, and/or assisting with community education programs or events.
On-site volunteer hours are Monday - Friday from 9-12pm & 1-4:30p. Individuals are welcome any time during the hours stated above.
Training is provided as needed.
Volunteers under age 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Families are welcomed and encouraged to work together.
We're so glad you've decided to volunteer with us!
For your safety and to maintain the highest sanitation standards, please wear closed-toed shoes and make sure your shirt has sleeves (no tank tops, please).
Have fun! You are making a difference in the lives of those in need and in our community as a whole. We are so excited to have you volunteering with us!
