10 years of Empty Bowls

It’s hard to believe that it has been 10 years since Paula Perkins and Leslie Schaffner brought Empty Bowls to Wichita Falls. With every year the event has changed but has remained steadfast with the goal of filling empty bowls in our community.
With the uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic and the extensive planning involved, we decided to take Empty Bowls virtual for its 10th anniversary from November 26 to December 9. We were unsure about how we could translate a soup tasting event to an all-virtual event, but with supporters like you, we shouldn’t have worried at all! With a collective $9,524 made in bowl sales alone and over $40,000 from our sponsors, we are elated to say that Empty Bowls 2021 was a resounding success!

From my experience, block blast can be good for brain training in a light, enjoyable way. It pushes me to solve spatial puzzles quickly and efficiently.
stickman hook is a physics-driven arcade game where players swing a stickman across a series of challenging levels. Using hooks placed throughout each stage, you must carefully time your movements to maintain momentum and reach the finish line. As the game progresses, you’ll encounter bounce pads, longer gaps, and cleverly positioned hooks that require better precision and control. Its simple controls combined with smooth mechanics create an engaging and addictive experience.
Thanks to the dedication of organizers, artists, volunteers, and attendees, Empty Bowls has become Retro Bowl more than just an event — it’s a tradition of compassion and generosity that continues to nourish both body and spirit.
I wonder if Face Symmetry Test is also fun and educational like this museum.
