Paris, 15, holds a bag of produce for her family at Colonial Church Pantry in Wichita Falls

Thomas knows all too well that one small incident can drastically change the course of a person’s life.

Thankfully, caring people like you are willing to help when hardworking families fall on hard times.

Things got tough for Thomas and his wife Monica eight years ago when he suffered a serious work injury. His family had to start living partially on social security disability checks supplemented by income from Thomas’ wife’s job at an insurance call center.

The family receives supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits, but the benefits rarely provide the family enough groceries to last through the end of each month. Your donations give them the extra help they need.

For the last two years, Thomas and his family come once a month to the Colonial Church Pantry in Wichita Falls, a partner agency of Wichita Falls Area Food Bank.

Thomas and Monica’s daughter, 15–year–old Paris, and son, 12–year–old Jeremiah, eat free breakfasts and lunches through their schools, which also helps the family’s budget.

The entire family is especially grateful for the fresh produce they’re able to take home from the pantry.

“Keep up the good work,” Thomas encourages neighbors like you, who are generously giving on behalf of families like his. “There are many in need.”

Thank you for making such a difference in the lives of your neighbors this holiday season!
